Prague Bridge

One of the most overlooked bridges in Prague is Cechuv Most. I love the statues that flair out over the water. It's not the most historical spot in Prague, but it has a lively sense about it. There are river boats below and a cobbled walkway that wraps around almost to Maneuv Most to the south.

Oddly enough the bridge attaches itself to two very different areas - one part quaint Old Town, one part car fumed Strahov Tunnel. The Old Town part is particularly interesting with St. Agnes Convent nearby and some lovely quiet streets. I'd certainly consider booking a hotel in this area. It's a quick walk to nearly everything.

There are also a number of views worth taking advantage of from here. For example, just across the bridge is Letna Park. This park is full of cool vantage points for snapping nifty vistas. Of course Letna Beer Garden is here too, but that's another story.

  1. Your blog is brilliant! And the pictures are quite good as well. I noticed you haven't mentioned the world famous nightlife in Prague . Check it out--its quite helpful I think.
